I thought my morning sickness was bad.
I no longer think my morning sickness has been bad at all. My dearest friend Erica is also pregnant. Infact with me having a c-section we are due pretty much the same day(different story get to that later). She has had morning sickness so bad that she had to be on an IV and had to have a shunt put in her leg to administer anti-nausea medicine to her 24/7. She cannot keep anything down and has to see our OB doctor(yes we have the same one) every week. She has to call in everyday and give them an update of her weight, ketones, and how many times she has thrown up in the last 24 hours. And I complained about 2 days of morning sickness. I have changed my mind.
Why do kids do what they do?
Is it a deficiency of some sort or just sheer boredom? What makes a 10 yr old eat a soft foam ball? He didn't ingest it but he ate it all the same. I asked why he would do that and he just shrugged his shoulders. I just don't get it.
Our three year old on the other hand is crazy. He is working on potty training and it is not going well. We have tried everything. Positive reinforcement, Negative reinforcement nothing works. He gets in the general area before he poops in his pants. At least he stands IN FRONT of the toilet before he does it. We ask why he didn't just sit on the toilet and he tells us he couldn't find it. He than thinks that we should move his bed into the bathroom so he can find the toilet easier. I don't get it.
Our four year old is selectively deaf. You can be looking right at her and talking to her and she acknowledges you but does the exact opposite. Last year she was having a hard time hearing so we took her to the Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist and sure enough she had thick fluid in her ears that made it sound like she was under water. We keep asking her if it feels like that again and she just says no. She just wants to do what she wants to do.
Our children are on a collective mission to make us nuts. Big surprise there.

William makes an announcement
These are three of the most improtant things in my life. Maxwell, Annabelle and William. These were taken the day we told them there was another baby on the way. Maxwell cried and just kept asking "are you kidding me". We didn't know at first if he was happy about it or not. Annabelle and William on the other hand reacted quite differently. You see for the past 6 months when we said prayers at dinner and at bedtime they would both ask that we have another baby.
We told them that since they prayed sooooo hard and asked Heavenly Father their prayers were answered. They were soooo excited. They couldn't wait to tell everyone and we were going to have another baby.
I don't get it.
I don't get it. Why is it that a person can back into a parking space almost taking out the cars around them and the grocery cart return but cannot back out of a parking spot to leave. You #1 cannot put your groceries in the back of your car because you have backed all the way up against the cart return. #2 You are so close to one of the cars next to you that your passenger has to climb out the window just to get out of the car. This isn't just a guy thing either. I just don't get it.
Idiot drivers
Ok so I have a question. Why is it that some people, either for their gender or the type of car they drive, feel that everyone else in the world should just make way and let them drive where they want? Merge into a lane and expect other drivers to make sure there is enough room for them. All of this without once using a blinker. The rest of us must be psychic and be able to know when they are going to make a sudden merge or even create a whole new lane where one did not previously exist.

So January 25th I had a feeling maybe I should take a pregnancy test. Had a feeling it would be positive but you never know. I was right! A very, very faint pink line showed up. I showed Jay and he said "staring at it will not change it from positive to negative."
I was in shock. I was getting myself together physically. Just had ACL surgery to stabilize my knee and lost 25 pounds. Must have done something right not supposed to get pregnant without intervention from my doctor. I guess instead I had divine intervention.
Went to the doctor on Feb 25th. Saw the first picture of our little blob (I have affectionatly nicknamed our little one) My co-workers are excited to go through this process with me.
